The project tested in the field the effectiveness of forest management options in meeting multiple objectives (production, protection, biodiversity, etc.), providing data, guidance and indications of best-practice, with the following objectives:
- propose and implement multifunctional forest management options and demonstrate their effective applicability;
- compare them with the traditional management systems;
- identify the optimal option and promote its application;
- provide data on Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) Indicators already available and propose new ones;
TerraData carried out the technical monitoring of the project in all its phases, from field surveys to the drafting of technical reports.
