The RENECOFOR forest monitoring network was created in 1992 by the Office National des Forets (ONF) to monitor the health of French forests.

The network consists of 102 permanent plots, which have been monitored for over 30 years.
In the years 2009-2013, TerraData contributed to the elaboration of the project data with a correlative study that related the health status and the growth of the French forests.
